Fireworks to be held at Yas Bay to mark Saudi National Day on September 23

Yas Island will turn its iconic landmarks in green to celebrate the occasion

Saudi Arabia will be celebrating their 92nd National Day on Friday September 23.

To celebrate Saudi National Day, Yas Island Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s leading leisure and entertainment hubs, will turn green.

A spectacular fireworks display will take place on Yas Island as part of the commemoration. The event begins at 9pm, and will be visible from Yas Bay Waterfront.

For this event, Yas Island will illuminate some of its most famous landmarks in cadmium green. W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island will be bathed in forest hues, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will flaunt an emerald glow, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi will be transformed into an Everglade-inspired waterpark, and there will be big Green Lantern energy at Warner Bros.

In addition, an up-lift green splash will add a leafy lift to the lattice facets of CLYMB Abu Dhabi. Yas Mall, Yas Plaza Hotels, and World Abu Dhabi will be washed with green light in recognition of 92 years since the foundation of Saudi Arabia in 1930.

Fireworks will be held at 9pm on Friday, Saturday 23rd.
