This September, the autumn season officially begins with the appearance of the Suhail Star in the Dubai night sky. As a result, activities and events in Dubai tend to increase.

From the top sporting events to the most fun activities, here are the 8 incredible things to do in September in Dubai.

1. Watch Asia Cup 2022 Final at Dubai International Stadium

Calling out all cricket fans..  Get ready and watch Asia’s biggest rivalries from nine countries get into a heated battle to prove who’s the best.

Asia Cup 2022 is scheduled on September 11th at Dubai International Stadium.

2. Sonu Nigam Show

Bollywood legend Sonu Nigam will be performing live at the Coca-Cola Arena on September 10th, 2022.

He will showcase some some of his most famous numbers, including the title track from the 2003 hit film Kal Ho Na Ho.

He was recently recognised for his contributions to the field of art by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian honour.

3. Visit the legacy site, Expo 2020

From September 1, the legacy site is set to welcome visitors before its full relaunch in October.

Visitors can experience two of its most popular pavilions: Alif – The Mobility Pavilion and Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, as well as the Garden in the Sky that offers 360-degree views of the expo city.

Tickets cost Dh50 per person per pavilion, and can booked through the expo city’s official website, or can be purchased at four box offices at Expo City Dubai. 

Ticket cost for Garden in the Sky is priced at Dh30 each.

Entry to pavilions is free for children aged 12 and under and people of determination. For Garden in the Sky, entry is free for children aged 5 and under.

Timings: 10AM to 6PM.

4. Movie at the Middle East’s largest cinema screen

Roxy Cinemas unveiled the biggest cinema screen in the Middle East, on Wednesday August 31, at Dubai Hills Mall.

Biking enthusiasts must not miss Return to Racing’s Rampage Time Trial at Al Qudra Cycle Track on 18 September. This race will test participants on how many times and how quickly they can complete a 15km loop around the Al Qudra route. Every round will challenge each biker’s fortitude until the finals where one will be crowned as the race’s champion.

As part of the Rampage Race round format, you will be divided into random 6 groups of men and 2 groups of women that you will compete against until the winner is crowned.

After the contest, all participants can enjoy a light breakfast and refreshments at the venue.

7. 2022 Q3 Night Run

The highly anticipated 2022 Q3 Night Run will take place on the 24th of September following the success of Q1, last March, and Q2, last June.

With the Night Run, get a chance to run over the iconic Meydan Royal Bridge surrounded by Dubai’s breathtaking skyline featuring the Burj Khalifa.

Like every time, the meet is offering a variety of distances including a 3km, 5km and 10km course to athletes over the age of 16, along with a 1km option for those below 15 years of age. On race day, glow-in-the-dark accessories will be provided to make the race more fun and safe.

This run will honour 50 years of the UAE with a customised four-part finisher medal featuring the Emirates logo.

8. Crusty Demons World Domination Show

There is no better way to feel the heartbeat in your mouth than to see the Crusty Demons in their biggest show yet in Dubai. This action sports event is happening at the Coca-Cola Arena on Friday September 23 with the champion riders Remi Bizouard and Jacko Strong.
