If you’re in Dubai, here are the places to catch the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Dubai for 2023-2024.

Burj Khalifa

Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa is the best place to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. On December 31, visitors can look forward to experience a cutting-edge laser light and fireworks show to illuminate the famed facade, with the Dubai Fountain at the building’s base earmarked to dance in sync with the show.

Burj Khalifa NYE fireworks

The upcoming fireworks show at Burj Khalifa is gearing up to be its most extensive, boasting 325 firing positions. With 15,682 pyrotechnic elements, the display will illuminate the sky in 2,800 directions, creating a stunning tapestry of colors and shapes.

Atlantis, The Palm

The Palm Jumeirah resort is renowned for hosting lavish year-end celebrations. The accompanying fireworks spectacle typically features a prominent artist, and this year, the spotlight is on the 17-time Grammy-winning artist Sting.

Here's where to catch the New Year's Eve fireworks in Dubai

Guests can opt for different packages, ranging from Dh7,000 for a Premium Circle spot to Dh12,500 for the Golden Circle, which includes a personalized caviar box and dishes with white truffle. Additionally, the hotel’s various restaurants are offering New Year’s Eve packages. For instance, prices at Ossiano start at Dh2,950 per person, while diners at Hakkasan will incur a cost of Dh1,950 each.

Even if you’re not attending the festivities at the five-star resort, you can still enjoy the fireworks from any location on Palm Jumeirah and certain areas of Dubai Marina.

Bluewaters Island and JBR

Bluewaters Island and JBR will host stunning fireworks display at midnight, and will last three minutes. 

If you happen to miss the display on December 31, the island will also feature daily fireworks from January 5 to 14, including an extended 10-minute show on January 13.

Hatta and Al Seef

If you’re celebrating the last night of the year in Al Seef, or Hatta, you can witness a breathtaking fireworks showcase at midnight. All three destinations assure a spectacular welcome to 2024 with an impressive display of pyrotechnics.

Al Seef will host daily firework shows from Christmas day until January 4, at 9pm every evening.

Global Village

The Global Village New Year’s Eve fireworks will feature the attraction welcoming the New Year seven times, with fireworks illuminating the sky on each occasion. Each midnight will be accompanied by a dedicated countdown and a distinctive Global Village firework display, resulting in a total of seven firework shows throughout the night.

Here's where to catch the New Year's Eve fireworks in Dubai

The New Year festivities will commence at 8 pm on the Main Stage, aligning with midnight in China. The celebration will then progress to Thailand at 9 pm, followed by Bangladesh at 10 pm, India at 10:30 pm, and Pakistan at 11 pm. Global Village will join the UAE in celebrating New Year’s Eve at midnight, concluding the events with a final celebration alongside Turkey at 1 am.

Dubai Parks and Resorts

Visit the Dubai Parks and Resorts for an early fireworks showcase, perfect for families and individuals preferring an early bedtime on New Year’s Eve.

The laser and fireworks spectacle will be held at Riverland at both 7 pm and 9 pm. Entrance to the venue requires a fee of Dh15, though those with annual passes or tickets to other theme parks can enjoy complimentary entry.
